Hua Hin and its neighbours are quieter than Thailand's other beach resort areas, but there is entertainment for those who like a little action after the sun goes down. There are a couple of Thai-style discos in town (Style Club & Star Planet) as well as the Hilton Brewing Company with live music.

Several pubs and a few sports bars are available for those who like to drink and eat while watching their favourite sport on a wide-screen TV or giant screen projector. The bar scene is centred in the the small square of Naresdamri Road (Hilton Road) on Soi Bintabaht, lane located near the Hilton Hua Hin Resort and Ponsook Road - the street coming down from City Beach Hotel.

Nightly transvestite show at 8.00 PM and 9.45 PM and a midnight show on week-ends. Probably different than anything you'll find back home.

Crawford's Irish Bar - Restaurant
Poolsuk Road, Hua Hin
Giant TV's, lots of drinks, and highly regarded pub grub. Popular with local expats and suitable for families.

Johnnie Walkers Sports & Music Bar
Selakam Road, Hua Hin
Good pub food and lots of promotions. Popular with expats.

This is only a short list. There are many more places that you can find by simply walking around in the center of the city.
